Since that time I have been collecting and digitizing items pertaining to the Craft in General and Saint John's Lodge No.1 in particular, in anticipation of one day being afforded the time and energy to compile this resource into a dedicated Lodge Website.

In April of 2007 permission was sought and received from the Grand Lodge of Newfoundland & Labrador for a dedicated Lodge Sanctioned Website. Saint John's Lodge No.1's Website was officially launched in May of 2007. The overall site is voluntarily maintained by Wor. Bro. Edward Davis, PM(2006) of Saint John's Lodge No.1, for the benefit of the Membership of Saint John's Lodge No.1. The site is designed to be informative and enlightening to those who are curious about the Craft in General as well as to provide as a useful resource for day to day updated information for the Membership of Saint John's Lodge No.1 in particular.

In May of 2011 the Grand Lodge of Newfoundland and Labrador officially notified all Lodges operating under their durisdiction that they were revoking all previously granted authority for any of those same Lodges to maintain their own Lodge Websites without first reapplying for permission first through the Office of their respective District Grand Masters, and than through a Grand Lodge appointed Committee recently created to oversee these sorts of matters of interest. The Worshipful Master, Webmaster, and the Lodge Secretary of Saint John's Lodge No.1 have made several attempts to reaffirm our 2007 granted operating permission under this newly formed committee structure, and have yet to be notified by any level of Grand Lodge representation if indeed our website continues tomeet with their May 2011 outlined website content and conditions. If our Lodge does not receive official sanctioning to continue with what appears to be the only Newfoundland and Labrador dedicated Lodge specific website by October 1, 2011, our Lodge's Webmaster will have no further recourse but to end the Lodges online web presence.

The East of our original Lodge Meeting Room, within the Hallowed Halls of The Masonic Temple, located at 6 Cathedral Street in St. John's, NL, Canada.

The Masonic Temple was vacated by our Lodge on June 13th, 2007, as per the directive from the MW Bro.
